Drawing Update 2: Tanya’s Bamboo Curtain

July 31, 2012

Only a little bit more to see here, but I have started on the figure, and wanted to show how I’m planning for this to look. I’m scratching away at the wax coloring, going back and forth between scratches and laying down new tones, then scratching away some more in layers. You can also see that, although the initial coloring of the flesh is saturated and garish, it gets toned down in the shading that’s made by the scratched lines. All the white you see here is from the paper beneath. I still have a good bit of clean up on what your seeing here, but I won’t bother about that for now.
